Employers: if you are a medium or small employer you could be entitled to £1,500 for offering an Apprenticeship to a school leaver (16-24). Training is free for learners who are aged under 19.
Our Dental Nursing Apprenticeship offers a combination of qualifications that will equip dental nurses with the skills and knowledge they need to work in a dental surgery. This Apprenticeship is about providing the essential link between dentist and patient.
You will need to hold a General Dental Council registration number and certificate and the Level 3 Dental Nursing Qualification. Ideally you will have two years post qualification experience.
To meet the requirements of the Pharmacy Regulator, learners must be working for a UK registered pharmacist in a pharmacy to undertake this course.
If you are a non-qualified pharmacy or dispensing Assistant working in a pharmacy environment, this is the ideal course for you.
You will complete this course alongside the Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Pharmaceutical Service Skills to gain the underpinning knowledge required to meet the requirements of the Pharmacy Regulator.
Four GCSEs at grade C including English is the preferred entry criteria. However entry may also be through initial assessment in English and Mathematics and a successful interview.
We have a proven track record for successfully delivering high quality training for dental practices. The College have recently achieved their third consecutive 'AA' standard external grade for the quality of their courses from Edexcel, who are the examining body.
The external verification praised the Dental Directorate’s links with Birmingham Dental Hospital and the dental deanery as well as with a wide range of dental practices, other education providers and with dental professional bodies. City and Guilds examination board also awarded a positive external verification grade to us for the delivery of the Diploma in Dental Nursing.
All our dental qualifications are part time.
