Outstanding Employer Links

We have a long tradition of working with employers and have excellent links with the business community at both national and local level. Our current portfolio of companies is impressive and includes BMW, Samsung, Caterpillar BCP, Wesleyan, Birmingham Children's' Hospital, Amadeus, Baxi and hundreds of local and national businesses.

Our university level courses offer opportunities for work-related learning and include opportunities for learners to work on live projects in their place of employment or in the Academy. Part-time students usually choose a project within their own organisation, while full-time students with little work experience may be assessed using a live brief provided by an employer.

Entry Requirements for our University Level Courses

Learners must be at least 18 years old, hold a minimum five GCSEs (or equivalent) which include GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, along with a Level 3 qualification (A Levels or National Diplomas/Certificates) or equivalent. All our university level programmes require specific qualifications. Please see our website for further information.

Mature students without formal qualifications will require an interview with one of our University Level tutors.

School or college leavers

If you are about to leave school or college and are not sure what course you would like to take, we would advise you to contact our Customer Services staff so they can give you advice and guidance.

Mature students and returning to study

We welcome applications from mature learners who have not been in education for a while. Mature students may not be required to meet the formal entry requirements.
